Outstanding Outdoors!

Thanks to the limestone terrain, Limestone Country offers the best in outdoor recreation activities for adventurers and families, too. You'll find rolling hills to hike, caves to explore, rivers to paddle and geocaches to find.

Lawrence County is home to the Deam Wilderness Area in the Hoosier National Forest, golf courses, fishing sites, and one of the most popular state parks in Indiana, Spring Mill State Park. Take a guided boat ride on America's longest underground river at Bluespring Caverns for an experience you won't forget!

Hiking, mountain biking, geocaching, motorcycling, ATVing, camping and snow sledding are all enjoyed in Limestone Country. And you don't need to have your own recreation equipment. You can rent a canoe, kayak, mountain bike, GPS and more from our local outfitters.

If a slower pace is more your speed, take a tour through the area on the Indiana Covered Bridge Loop. One of Indiana's longest covered bridge is located in the town of Williams in Lawrence County.

The great outdoors are even greater in Limestone Country!
